Thank you for your interest in joining one of our many committees of the Mortgage Bankers Association of New York. Below is a list of our active committee with a short description of each. Please "GET INVOLVED" and complete the form indicating which committee(s) you would be interested in participating on. 

MBA of NY 2025/2026 COMMITTEES:

• Communications & Marketing Committee 
  Description: Oversees branding message in coordination with the MBAofNY Management & Marketing Company.   Controls LinkedIn presence. Coordinates with the Management & Marketing Company for Instagram, Facebook, and mass emails. 
  
  

• Membership Committee
  Description: Responsible for growing and sustaining membership. Handles outreach, applications, onboarding, and retention efforts

• Member Engagement & Experience Committee 
  Description: Enhances the member experience, manages onboarding, event ambassadors (people to engage with new members and introduce them to existing members at events), and develops resources to highlight benefits of membership.  Highlight Member of the month in coordination with Communication committee and our Management & Marketing Company.

• Programs & Events Committee 
  Description: Plans and executes the annual calendar of events. Each event designates an Event Chair who leads an event subcommittee (Finance, Speakers, Venue & Logistics, Marketing Liaison). 

  Yearly Events:

  • Real Estate & Lending Investment Summit (RELIS Conference)
  • Golf Outing 
  • Holiday Party 
  • Annual Whiskey Tasting
  • Annual Wine Tasting

• Sponsorship & Partnerships Committee 
  Description: Secures sponsorships, builds partner relationships, and ensures sponsor visibility at events and in communications.  Coordinates with Communications committee and our Management & Marketing Company to highlight Sponsors in Social Campaigns. 

• Young Professionals Committee 
  Description: Engages professionals under 40 (or with less than 10 years’ industry experience) through networking, mentorship, and leadership opportunities.
